Remote appointment setter jobs on high-ticket offers
An appointment setter contacts and qualifies potential buyers, then books sales calls for a closer to run. The role is remote, commission-led, and judged on qualified meetings that show up rather than on message volume.
What the job actually involves
Setting is a conversation job, not a copy-paste job. You work a list, start conversations across email, LinkedIn and phone, work out quickly whether someone has a real problem and the means to fix it, and book the ones who qualify.
The bar you are held to is the meeting that shows up and is worth the closer's time. Filling a calendar with unqualified calls is the fastest way to lose a seat on a good offer.
- Outbound and inbound outreach across multiple channels
- Qualify against criteria set with the client
- Book directly into the closer's calendar
- Confirm and remind so bookings actually show
- Log notes and outcomes in the client's CRM
How pay works on a setter role
Setter compensation is usually a per-qualified-appointment amount, a share of deals that close from your bookings, or a combination of the two. The split depends on the offer's deal size and whether leads are supplied or self-generated.
We tell you the exact structure for an offer before you take it. Anyone who won't show you the numbers up front is not worth working for.
What we look for
Clear spoken English, resilience on the phone, and the discipline to make the seventh follow-up attempt rather than the second. Prior setting experience helps but is not mandatory — we assess on a live role-play rather than a CV.
The people who last treat it as a skilled trade with a learning curve, not a quick remote income.
Setter or closer — which should you apply for?
Setting is the standard entry point: shorter calls, faster feedback loops, and it teaches qualification, which is the skill closing depends on. Most closers we work with set first.
If you already have documented experience running discovery and closing calls on higher-value offers, apply straight for a closing seat.
